Inventory
Inventory
Inventory lets you track physical supplies and products used in your services. Each inventory item belongs to a specific location.
Amount and Units
- Amount — current stock quantity as a number.
- Unit — the unit of measurement (e.g. unit, bottle, box). Currently the default unit is a generic unit.
Threshold
The threshold is the minimum stock level that triggers a low-stock warning. When the current amount drops to or below the threshold, the item is flagged in the dashboard so you can reorder in time.
Example: a bottle of shampoo that you reorder when fewer than 3 remain → set threshold to 3.
Dynamics
The dynamics flag marks whether an item is consumed during service delivery (true) or is a fixed asset (false).
- Dynamic items (e.g. consumables, products applied during treatments) can be decremented automatically or manually when an appointment is completed.
- Non-dynamic items (e.g. equipment, furniture) are tracked for inventory purposes but are not decremented.
Per-Location Tracking
Inventory is tracked independently per location. The same product at two different branches has two separate inventory records, each with its own amount and threshold.
