Teams

Teams let you organise employees into logical groups — departments, specialties, or working groups. Teams support a parent/child hierarchy, so you can model complex org chart structures.

Hierarchy

Teams can have a parent team, allowing you to nest them:

  • Operations
- Front Desk

- Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Medical
- Physiotherapy

- Dermatology

There is no hard limit on depth, but two or three levels is typically sufficient. The hierarchy is purely organisational; it does not affect scheduling or permissions.

Using Teams

You can filter the calendar, employee lists, and reports by team. When you assign an employee to a team, they appear under that team in the org chart view and in team-scoped filters throughout the dashboard.

Active / Inactive

Deactivating a team hides it from filters and the org chart but does not remove or reassign its members. This is useful for teams that are temporarily disbanded or seasonal.
